Trade in your sandals for booties, dust off your moto jackets, and get hype… cause its official time for fall fashion! It’s always fun to change out your wardrobe for the new season, but I can honestly say that fall is my favorite time to get dressed! There are just so many options and that’s why I jumped at the chance to partner with Walmart Fashion to look at their new fall collection!

Today, I’m showing you how I take this cute dress and make it appropriate for those end of summer days or full on fall weather! One thing I truly love about this dress is that the neckline has elastic, so it can be worn with swoop neck or off the shoulder! This is not only practical for transitioning this piece between seasons, but it also makes it accessible to those who simply don’t feel like wearing a strapless bra – cause we’ve all been there! I also really love the embroidery cause prints and patterns are tried and true summer choice, but embroidery has always given me that same cozy feel that comes with typical fall festivities. I’m talking apple picking, eating grandma’s cobbler and sipping on something pumpkin spiced! For me, this print is warm and cozy even if we experiencing some end of summer heat waves!

The first thing I think of for fall fashion is layering! That’s why I love to stock up on jean jackets, moto jackets, and cozy cardigans! I opted for this denim jacket because it pairs so well with olive tones. Thrown over your shoulders or buttoned up tight, this pair is CUTE! The second thing I think of for fall fashion is texture! That’s why I was so thrilled to find this great statement bag that is as versatile as it is fashionable! Wear it as a handheld net bag or tuck the handles in and attach the strap if you’re looking for an easy over the shoulder vibe.

Fall Florals | City Chic at Macy’s!

Hello my loves!

Fall is here and it is by far my favorite time of the year! Autumn leaves, cinnamon spice, and the promise of months of festivities is more than enough to make this girl excited about the changing season. However for me, fall is all about the fashion! It’s time to pack up your shorts and pull out your scarves! It’s time to play with different layers and silhouettes! And most importantly, fall gives you the best excuse to go shopping! I’m always looking for new brands to wear and one of my recent finds is City Chic! They are an Australian brand that is all about offering premium fearless clothes for plus size women! I was instantly impressed and that’s why I am so happy to be partnering with Macy’s to share this beautiful City Chic look for fall!

I was scrolling through the Macy’s site and immediately fell in love with the lux feel of this dress! At first, I was drawn to the sheer floral design and the flowy fabric! But the cut is what takes this dress to the next level for me! This maxi dress is easy breezy enough for day and easily dressed up for night!

I opted for a leather jacket; because if I’m being honest with myself, even the slightest breeze is reason enough for me to bust out the layers. I also wanted to add some kind of pop that would take the look to the next level, so I choose to pair the dress with bright white booties! Styled this way, I’d wear the look out for a date or an event or girls night out! You could swap the booties for a pair of pumps for a more upscale look.

Three Go-To Jackets for Fall and Winter | Sponsored by StitchFix

Hey lovelies,

And helloooo November! This just might be my favorite time of the year! The spooky stuff is over and now it’s time to focus on family, food, and presents – woo! I just got back from visiting my best friend in Portland, OR and all the rain reminded me how important it is to plan for the changing seasons! The leaves were stunning, but the rain & wind chill already had me thinking about getting my winter wear together! Although I live in LA, I travel quite a bit during the winter months and need to be prepared with lots of cozy options!

If you’ve been following me for a while then you already know about my love for Stitch Fix! An obvious classic is the leather moto jacket! This is an absolute staple for me and I am thrilled when it finally gets chilly enough to start wearing them each year! I love this specific jacket because the sleeve detail instantly glams up the look! I decided to create a full camouflage moment with these leggings, because I know this outfit would definitely inspire me to bring my workout to the next level! The last classic jacket style is a newly adopted favorite of mine… the bomber! Bombers are a great option for looking effortlessly chic! On it’s own the bomber has more of an athlesuire/street feel, but you can absolutely style it to fit your personal style! I attempted to dress the bomber up for a night out by pairing it with heeled booties and a trendy bag with matching earrings! This look was probably my favorite because I instantly felt ready to go out and dance, haha!

NY Collection at Macy’s!

Hello beauty! How are you? How have you been? How’s your mama? What’s up with me? That’s so sweet of you to ask…

I’m currently sitting at a cafe in San Francisco it is CHILLY!! It’s super foggy and misty; and the summer breeze feels more like a distant cousin of a hurricane! The longer I sit here the more grateful I am that summer is not over at home in LA!

We’ve officially reached the time of the year where I’m still shopping for summer, but I’m mentally preparing for fall! And you should be too! I’m thrilled to be partnering with Macy’s to share their NY Collection because this line is a great starting point when looking for those perfect transitional pieces to get you through the next few months!

The first thing you’ll notice about the NY Collection is that it is super stinkin cute! It’s really giving you a taste of New York with pieces that offer everything from the elevated, chic look of Manhattan to the more balanced boho vibes of Brooklyn. I opted to represent my old stomping grounds and style this adorable floral print shift dress.

It’s perfect for summer because of its light airy fabric and cute lace up details. This dress would honestly look great with heels, boots, flats, or even the right pair of sneakers! It’s versatility is what makes it a good choice; however, it is the fit that makes it a great choice! The dress pintucks at the waist and flares out along the bottom making a great silhouette whether you carry your most weight in your bust, belly, or hips.

I’m so happy with this dress for summer and I can’t wait to style it for the fall! You could pair it with a suede moto jacket and a pair of booties; or my personal choice would be to pair the dress with tall boots, trench coat, and a beanie! Hello beauties!!

I hope you are all having an incredible week! GUESS WHAT?!? I got engaged this past weekend!! Isn’t that wild? I am so happy and I will absolutely be sharing more about that super soon! I’ve been all over the place emotionally (read: I cried so hard that I laughed and I laughed so hard that I started crying again, lol), but one thing for sure is that I am thrilled! My friends and family keep saying “aww you look so happy! You’re glowing!” And it really got me thinking, joy is truly the best beauty secret and the best fashion accessory out there!

Now, we can’t always be in a state of euphoria from a recent engagement, but we absolutely can find other ways to feel good and get that joyful glow! One way I find joy is through a fun fashion moment and I really think this could work for you too! I’m excited to be partnering with LOFT to share three outfit ideas that always make me feel my best! LOFT is an amazing choice for everything from workwear to athlesuire to a night out on the town. My first go-to outfit idea is also the most simple! I love to find a great pair of jeans and elevate them to the next level! For this look, I decided to go with a pair of cropped denim with a personality of their own! Then I opted for a cozy sweater look that is still appropriate for LA weather. Now the key to making this a feel good look is making sure you’ve got the fit just right! Jeans can be tough, but these double cuff fray skinny jeans curve around my hips and my booty just right – plus there’s lots of stretch!

My second go-to outfit idea that always makes me happy is a monochrome moment! Wearing similar shades of the same color is a tried and true way to instantly make your outfit chic! You can go for the jeans and tee vibe or you can up the ante and go with a more flirty take on monochrome style. I personally love the V neck and the ruffle shoulder detail! This adorable shift dress instantly stood out to me for it’s timeless aesthetic and its vibrant color! It was an easy decision to pair it with these picture perfect pink mules!

The last (but not least!) go-to outfit idea is a simple pattern on a dress or a jumpsuit. This is possibly my favorite go-to of the three and here’s why: A pattern instantly makes your outfit fun and interesting. I definitely suggest sticking to a simple pattern if that pattern will be covering the whole garment! Save your busy patterns for accents pieces like a head wrap, bag, or a tucked/cropped top! I’m such a fan of this jumpsuit not only for its pattern, but for its fun silhouette! A great outfit should be fun to wear and with the cropped wide pant leg and sneaker combo, it sure was!

Bring on the fur! I personally think every girl deserves a (faux) fur coat in her closet. It is a tried and true way to bring instant glam to even your most simple jeans and lace cami top! Fall Magic with Full Beauty

I don’t know if it’s the chill in the air, the changing leaves, or the ample amounts of deliciously spiced treats, but there’s something magical about fall. Would you believe that this is only my second fall ever?! I grew up in sunny Los Angeles where fall was a color scheme but definitely not a real season. So when Full Beauty asked me to join them and some of our favorite bloggers on an epic fall photoshoot upstate, I packed my bags!

Once we arrived to our beautiful location, we quickly changed into our first looks and were off to play with the horses. This skirt was definitely a winner! It’s the kind of piece that can be styled up with an off the shoulder top and heels or styled down for a more casual vibe. We opted for the more casual look and thank goodness because leading a horse is hard enough without the heels! Random fun fact: Horses roll on their backs like dogs and it’s mad funny!

Next up was bike riding, apple picking, and well… apple eating. We changed into our second looks to explore the apple farm and do some serious quality control. I never imagined I’d ride a two person bike and I never thought I’d eat an apple straight off the tree, but look at me out here living my best life!
